A. Van Beveren, Ph.D. Nutritional Biochemist & Clinical Physiologist
Dr. Van opened his first office, the La Habra Community Nutritional Clinic, in 1978. He is a citizen of the world: born immediately post-WWII in the Netherlands, raised and educated in various parts of Europe, South Africa, India, Central America and finally the United States. He is fluent in Dutch, Spanish, and English, and (well?) versed in German and Afrikaans. He graduated at 17 with a M.S. in Nutritional (orthomolecular) Biochemistry and at 19 with a Ph.D. in Human (clinical) Physiology. Hired by Christiaan Barnard to work with the extracorporeal circulation pump during cardiac transplants, he almost finished medical school at the Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town. Extraordinary violent circumstances (due to apartheid) brought him to India, where he volunteered at Mother Teresa's mission. For three years he observed various states of starvation and tropical diseases. He learned the piezoelectric "Radiantouch" and clinical ear acupuncture from Anton Jayasuriya ("Lord Pandit") on Sri Lanka and continued his studies several years later, including Bach Flower Remedies and "The Radiantouch" with Eric Love in Southern California. One year later, after doing research at USC Medical School with Dr. M. Cosgrove (using I-133 to diagnose prostate cancer) Dr. Van joined "La Cruz Rojo" traversing Guatemala, where he vaccinated approximately 3000 Mayans while at the same time studying poisonous, medicinal, hallucinogenic and food-herbs with several brujos & curanderos for another three years.
In the USA, Dr. Van taught clinical nutrition and conducted research at various medical university hospitals, including UCLA, USC, Cedars of Lebanon, and the Shock Lab at Hollywood Presbyterian with Drs Weil & Shubin. Now thoroughly dissatisfied with the orthodox institutions/clinics for shunning holisic, integrative, alternative and functional treatments & philosophies, Dr. Van started a private nutritional learning center in California ("The La Habra Community Nutritional Clinic"). Eight years later he opened another health center near Princeton, New Jersey, known as the Princeton Health Integration Center (PHIC), and another practice in New Hope, Pennsylvania. For three years he flew across the USA every two weeks while maintaining his offices on each coast. The AIDS crisis forced him to leave New Hope and then in 1986 he finally settled near Princeton.
He physically studied (months to years) under many renowned professionals and pioneers from various disciplines, including: Drs. Carl Pfeiffer of the Brain Bio Center, Emanuel Revici, Benedict Kingsley,Samuel West, John "Ray" Christopher, Harley Swiftdeer, Jose Arguelles,Terence McKenna, Bernard Jensen, Bruce Halstead, Joseph Scogna, Christian Barnard, Drs. Morrow & Malcolm Cosgrove, Drs. Weil & Shubin, John & Deo Robbins, Robert W. Bradford, Robert S. Mendelsohn, Henry G. Bieler, Gerhard Schmidt, Ray Gottlieb, Narayan Singh Khalsa and many others too numerous to mention. As a holistically-inclined scientist, Dr. Van emphasizes the function (enzymology) of healthy people who are under considerable stress: e.g. teachers, doctors, psychologists, pregnant women, & others exposed to daily toxicity. As a nutritionally-oriented consultant, he is interested in educating his clients about their unique biochemistry, individual physiology and the role nutrition plays in their present situation, past influences and rate of healing.
He has some 40 powerpoint lectures that have been taught in all the major universities of New Jersey and California. Since 2019 his focus has sharply shifted to those who are (or will) chronically suffer the "side effects" from the spiked COVID-19 virus +/or the vaccination cycles. He is adequately prepared to educate people of all ages who have contracted COVID-19 naturally or, conversely, thru a "break-through" experience.
Since 1978, Dr. Van has had extensive experience with Dancers (particularly ballet), Singers, Musicians, Vegans, (kap), Athletes, Actors, 911 Survivors (and other first-aid responders), and has recently specialized in those suffering from long COVID-19 - as well as individuals with serious, systemic, chronic, degenerative, consumptive diseases and low-grade inflammation, AKA smoldering.
